Discover J.J. Abrams’ splendid $22M home
The producer and his wife bought the house in 2014 for $14.47M.
Producer J.J Abrams ‘ home is located in California’s Pacific Palisades neighborhood and was listed for sale last year for a cool $22M, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
The producer and his wife, Katie McGrath, bought the home in 2014 for $14.47M. It is 0.6 acres, with a city view and an ocean view.
Neighbors include Brooke Shields, Steven Spielberg, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo, as well as Jennifer Garner, among others.
The mansion consists of five bedrooms and four bathrooms, plus a trio of powder rooms. Some of the home’s many other comforts include a total of five fireplaces, a high-tech security system, a craft room, a staff/guest suite, gleaming ebony floors and, throughout the main floor, a full audio system with ceiling speakers.
Beyond the light-filled central lobby are spacious formal living and dining rooms, both with fireplaces.
Updated and reconfigured since its last sale, the kitchen is an airy culinary dream with thick marble countertops, and the usual array of appliances expected in a $20+ million home. With convenient access to the backyard, the adjoining breakfast room is large enough to accommodate a cozy sitting area.
