The spectacular return of Ford to Formula 1
From the 2026 season, the Red Bull team will be able to count on the return of the Ford manufacturer in Formula 1!
Note that the brand has withdrawn from F1 in 2004 (as champion) as engine manufacturer.
The American brand will become associated with Red Bull, the 2022 champion team, and its little sister AlphaTauri, in order to develop a new generation hybrid engine.
The partnership will last until at least 2030.

When Ford returns, the single-seaters will be able to count on an increase in electric power and, on top of that, 100% sustainable fuel will be used.
Ford will certainly make its mark in several areas, including battery cells, electric motor technology and power unit analysis software.
Ford is the third most successful engine manufacturer, with 10 manufacturers’ championships and 13 drivers’ titles.
It is a global brand with an “incredible heritage” in racing and also in the huge world of automobiles!
Remember that also in 2026, Audi will land in F1 to make its debut.
A long-awaited debut for the German manufacturer.
