Stonehenge paid tribute to Elizabeth II

The Queen’s Jubilee is celebrated all over the world, and sometimes in unexpected ways. The famous prehistoric site ofStonehenge in English Wiltshireis one of these beautiful surprises.

June marks the 70th anniversary of Elizabeth II’s reign.English Heritage, which manages the site ofStonehenge, has therefore decided to salute in its own way theBritish monarchof 96 by displaying images of different eras of the sovereign on the stones erected on its site between 2800 and 1100 BC. For one of the few times in years, the British royal family gathered around the Queen for the occasion. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were present, and they took the opportunity to introduce their newest child, Lilibet, to the Queen.
