Katy Perry accused of “mom shaming”, an American Idol candidate reacts

Pop singer Katy Perry, who is also a judge on American Idol, has been accused of mom shaming by fans of a contestant who auditioned this year, a young woman named Sara Beth.

The 25-year-old candidate and mother of three children has also denounced on TikTok shameful remarks against her during her audition in front of the singer, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie.

Katy Perry would have, indeed, made a joke which would have passed badly with the televiewers…

When Sara revealed to the judges that she was a mother of three children, Katy Perry said with surprise that the young woman was lying down too much on a table, after she mentioned that she was going to faint if the pop superstar did the same.

The contestant took the opportunity to say that women should be cheering for each other instead of putting each other down, especially when it comes to being a mother.
