Kim Cattrall joins And Just Like That… and the web goes wild

Fans of Sex In The City were delighted to learn that actress Kim Cattrall who played Samantha Jones in the cult series, was making a return in person to the cast of the second season of the saga’s new TV installment, And Just Like That

According to Variety, one of the franchise’s most iconic characters, Samantha Jones, appears in the second season for just a moment, enough to bring her character back to life… and set the web on fire in the process!

In this scene, we get to witness the reconciliation between Samantha and Carrie, who have had a rather strained relationship since the first season!

Unfortunately for some, her appearance is not a sign of a continuation of her character…

Back in 2016, Kim Cattrall publicly announced that she had had enough of playing Samantha, as she didn’t feel that the script for a proposed third film did her character justice. What’s more, the star has been at loggerheads with Sarah Jessica Parker for some time now.

In fact, Cattrall reportedly didn’t talk to any of the original cast during the filming of her scene!

However, we’re convinced that seeing the actress who left her mark on more than one generation, for a short while, will be a balm to the hearts of many!

What do you think?
