Chrissy Teigen has always been very open on social media about the couple’s difficult journey to conceive their children. In fact, the model went through several in vitro fertilization processes before she was able to get pregnant with her children and in 2020, the couple faced the tragic loss of the child carried by Chrissy.

But now, almost two years later, the couple is once again experiencing the joy of expecting a baby!

As the mom explains in her Instagram post, where she proudly displays her adorable baby bump, this pregnancy is not lived without stress.

The past few years have been a blur of emotions, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion injections later (in the leg lately, as you can see!), we have another one on the way. At each appointment I thought “ok, if all goes well, I’ll announce it”, then hearing the heart, I breathe a sigh of relief and realize I’m still too nervous. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of a date with more excitement than nervousness, but so far everything is perfect and beautiful and I feel hopeful. Okay, phew it’s been really hard to keep this up for so long!
